You've got Royal mail!

After many years of being the judge of instruction on Saba, this week the acceptance of his resignation came in by Royal Decree from King Willem Alexander himself. Because Gerald went back into commercial practice, and because Saba is such a small community, it was best to abdicate the deputy judge post. Gerald had a great time with many wonderful experiences as the judge of instruction for Saba, and he wishes to thank all his colleagues and stakeholders on the different islands that he worked together with while he held the position. He is also very grateful to have been able to contribute in this very special way to justice and security on the islands that him and husband call home.

''It's been a beautiful and very special chapter in my career that has come to a close, and I look forward to all the exciting new chapters that are yet to come.''
